Scope
GB/T 7563-2018 is the English-translated version of 商品煤质量 水泥回转窑用煤.
GB/T 7563-2018 sets the quality requirements for commercial coal used in rotary cement kilns. It covers product quality grades and technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, transportation and storage, and applies to such coal in production, processing, storage, transportation, sale and use.
Coal for rotary cement kilns is graded by calorific value and total sulfur and expressed as a heat grade combined with a total sulfur grade, and a product catalogue is added as Appendix A. The referenced test methods include those for total moisture, proximate analysis, calorific value, total sulfur, phosphorus, arsenic, chlorine and mercury in coal, together with manual and mechanized sampling and sample preparation.
It replaces GB/T 7563-2000, was issued on 14 May 2018 and has applied since 1 December 2018.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 7563-2000 "Technical Conditions for Coal Used in Cement Rotary Kiln". This standard is compared with GB/T 7563-2000, the main The technical content changes are as follows.

3 Product quality level and technical requirements
3.1 General
The coal used in the cement rotary kiln is graded according to the calorific value and the total sulfur index, and is expressed in the form of "heat level of total sulfur level".
