3 terms and definitions

3.1 Nominal specification namesize
The nominal diameter of a common chain.
3.2 Common link
Constitute the basic unit of the link.
3.3 Add link link to Extendedlink
Used to connect common links and end links, common links and "D" type connection shackles or links for connecting common links and rings.
3.4 End link
Attached to the end of the chain or anchor link with the end of the shackle, "D" type connection shackle or ring shackle link link.
3.5 Connection shackle joiningshackle ("d" joiningshackleorkentershakcle)
