Foreword
This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.
Introduction
Geographic information vector data has been widely used in the geospatial field and its related industries. About the conceptual model and model of geographic information vector data The formula language is described in GB/T 33187.1, GB/T 23708 and other standards. GB/T 17798 specifies the geographical space for text encoding Inter-data exchange format. However, with the development of geographic information technology and applications, geographic information based on database files and binary encoding of geometric data The demand for vector data storage, exchange and transmission of management information is becoming increasingly urgent.
This document is based on GB/T 17798 and provides vector data based on the general geographical information vector data expression content and information model.
Representation of the data model; vector data storage specifications are given based on standard, interoperable and self-describing database technology; and based on this Storage specification, an example of geographic information vector data storage is given.
The vector data model specified in this document includes core data and extended data, and is suitable for storing 2-dimensional and 2.5-dimensional simple elements. different
The application can expand the 3D element data table, dynamic element table or time series element table according to the extension mechanism of this file. Geographic information vector data model and storage specifications
1 Scope

3.2 Composite feature
Reference to a collection of features consisting of one or more features (3.4).
3.3 Dataset
An identifiable collection of data.
Note: A dataset can be physically a smaller part of a larger dataset through restrictions such as spatial extent or feature type. Theoretically, the data set can Individual features or feature attributes within small to larger datasets. A hard copy map or chart can be considered a data set. [Source: GB/T 19710-2005,4.2]
