Scope
GB/T 42251-2022 is the English-translated version of 采矿沉陷区生态修复技术规程.
GB/T 42251-2022 is the Chinese national technical regulation for restoring the ecology of ground that has subsided above underground mines.
It covers the survey of existing conditions, evaluation and diagnosis, restoration goals and models, restoration design, the technical measures themselves, and monitoring, acceptance, management and maintenance; informative appendices add the survey contents, a soil nutrient classification, a damage-degree classification with matching repair modes, an outline for the restoration programme and the applicable conditions for terrain-transformation measures.
Clause 1 limits it to technical work on stable subsidence areas formed by underground mining of mineral resources, a stable area being one whose surface points have subsided no more than 30.0 mm in six consecutive months.
Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 15776 and TD/T 1036. Issued on 30 December 2022, it has applied since 1 April 2023.
