1 Scope
This document specifies the sustainable management requirements for bamboo forest certification.
This document is applicable to the review and evaluation of bamboo forest management activities that mainly produce bamboo materials and bamboo shoots. The source management certification is implemented by reference.

3 Terms and Definitions
GB/T 20391, GB/T 28951-2021, GB/T 32770, GB/T 35242 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Bamboo forest
Stands dominated by bamboo plants with a canopy closure of more than 0.2 and a cover of more than 40% or other forests with bamboo as the management target.
3.2 Bamboo forest management unit
It has a bamboo forest area with a certain area and a clear boundary, and can carry out bamboo forest management according to the determined management policy and management objectives, and has legal Person-qualified bamboo forest management subject.
3.3 Bamboo forest management certification
Audit and evaluate the bamboo forest management activities of the bamboo forest management unit through the certification body to prove that the bamboo forest of the unit is sustainable operate.
