Scope
GB/T 41021-2021 is the English-translated version of 法庭科学 DNA鉴定文书内容及格式.
GB/T 41021-2021 sets out the content and format of the documents issued after a forensic DNA identification. It applies to the preparation of these documents by identification institutions.

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1. Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" drafted.
1 Scope
This document specifies the content and format of forensic DNA identification documents.
This document applies to the preparation of forensic DNA identification instruments.
2 Normative references
The contents of the following documents constitute essential provisions of this document through normative references in the text. Among them, dated citations documents, only the version corresponding to that date applies to this document; for undated references, the latest edition (including all amendments) applies to this document.

3 Terms and Definitions

4 Format of identification document
4.1 Color of pictures and texts in identification documents
The color of the text and forms in the appraisal document should be black. Colors are available for images, photographs, etc.
4.2 Typesetting Specifications
Appraisal documents are typeset according to GB/T 9704 specifications.
4.3 Other requirements
The words "there is no text on this page" should not be used in the identification document.
5 Contents of the identification document
5.1 General requirements
There are two types of identification documents. identification certificate and inspection report. Objectively reflect the origin and process of identification, and obtain identification after inspection and demonstration If there is an opinion, a Certificate of Appraisal shall be issued. If the origin and process of the appraisal are objectively reflected, and the test result is directly obtained after the test, the "Test Report" shall be issued.
The identification document shall be made in original and duplicate. The original shall be handed over to the entrusting unit or client, and the copy shall be archived by the appraisal agency.
The appraisal document issued by the appraisal institution after the appraisal has been completed shall be valid only after the special seal of appraisal of the appraisal institution is affixed.
For supplementary appraisal or re-appraisal, a separate appraisal document shall be prepared.
The language expression of the appraisal document shall use the terms that conform to the national standard language standard, general professional term standard and legal standard.
