Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document is Part 2 of GB 21556 "Safety Technical Requirements for Locks". GB 21556 has the following parts published.

2.Anti-theft Locks This document partially replaces the technical specifications for mechanical and electronic anti-theft locks in GB 21556-2008 "General Technical Conditions for Lock Safety". Compared with GB 21556-2008, the main technical changes in requirements, test methods, and inspection rules, apart from structural adjustments and editorial modifications, are as follows: as follows:

---Added 10 terms. anti-theft lock, digital key, PIN key, biometric key, differential exchange number, key quantity, theoretical key quantity. Actual available key quantity, false acceptance rate, and false rejection rate (see 3.1.1, 3.1.4~3.1.6, 3.1.14~3.1.19);

---Nine terms have been changed. mechanical anti-theft lock, electronic anti-theft lock, drill-proof, saw-proof, pry-proof, pull-proof, impact-proof, technical opening-proof, irregular shape. Marbles (see 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 3.1.7~3.1.13, 3.23, 3.24, 3.6.2, 3.6.3, 3.6.4, 3.23.2,

---The technical requirements and test methods for mechanical anti-theft locks have been significantly adjusted, supplemented, and refined (see Chapters 5 and 7,.2008 edition).

---The technical requirements and test methods for electronic anti-theft locks have been significantly adjusted, supplemented, and refined (see Chapters 6 and 8,.2008 edition).

---The inspection rules for anti-theft locks have been changed (see Chapter 9, Chapter 6 of the.2008 edition);

---Added testing equipment, measuring instruments, and testing tools (see Appendix A);

---Added types of prosthetic attacks (see Appendix B);

---Added test equipment installation and testing diagrams (see Appendix C);

1 Scope

GB 21556.2-2025 is the Chinese national standard on technical requirements for lock safety - part 2: burglary-resistant locks, in the field of environment and health protection, safety. It carries no /T suffix, which in the Chinese system means compliance is mandatory: a product or a practice within its scope has to meet it to be lawfully made, sold or carried out in China. It was issued on 29 August 2025 by the Ministry of Public Security, and has been in force since 1 March 2026. Classification: ICS 13.310, CCS A91.
