Foreword

This revised standard adopts ISO 6789:2003 "Assembly tools for screws and nuts - Hand torque wrench technical conditions and test methods" (In English).

This standard is based on ISO 6789:2003 redrafted. The list of national standards with international standards and provisions in terms of the information in Appendix C Control list.

Taking into account China's national conditions, in the use of ISO 6789:2003, the standard of this made some changes related to technical differences have been incorporated into the body and they are involved in the provision of margin identified by a single vertical line. And ISO 6789 is given in Appendix D.2003 Technology List of differences and the reasons for the reference.

This standard and ISO 6789:2003 The main differences are as follows.

--- Cited the adoption of international standards of national standards and other standards (Chapter 2 of this edition);

--- Surface treatment and surface quality makes provision (Excerpts of 5.1, 5.2);

This standard replaces GB/T 15729-1995 "torque wrench General technical requirements." this standard and GB/T 15729-1995 compared to the main changes are as follows.

--- Increased terms and definitions (Chapter 3 of this edition);

--- Increased product marking (Excerpts 4.2);

--- Adjust the torque wrench torque test accuracy requirements (1995 version 4.6, this version of 5.5);

--- Revised test methods for testing the accuracy of the torque wrench Torque (1995 version 5.5, this version of 6.5);

--- Modify the inspection rules (1995 edition, Chapter 6, Section 7 of this edition).

The Standard Appendix A and Appendix B are normative, Appendices C and D are informative appendices.

Hand torque wrench - General requirements

1 Scope

This standard specifies hand torque wrench terms and definitions, classification and labeling, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, including Loading, transportation and storage.

This standard applies to tighten the screws and pull the nut or other similar parts of the hand indicating torque wrench and hand preset torque wrench.

Hereinafter referred to as torque wrenches.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.

By way of pointers or electronic scale display, the display output torque wrench (see GB/T 4625).

Can be pre-set torque value output, and audible, visual and other perceived value signal display output torque wrench (see GB/T 4625).

Adjustable output torque value, a dial or an electronic display with a torque wrench to adjust the output torque value (refer to preset torque wrench in the hands of A-type, D and G).

Adjustable output torque value, the torque with a torque wrench calibration device.
