Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 406-2008 "cotton color cloth". Compared with GB/T 406-2008, the main technical changes are as follows.

--- Added product identification content (see 3.2);

---Intrinsic quality increase per unit area without slurry drying quality deviation rate evaluation index (see 4.3) and test method (see 5.4), density bias The positive and negative deviations of the rate assessment (see 4.3, 4.2.3 of the 2008 edition);

--- Adjusted the nibble impurity point rate, the cotton knot point rate indicator and the range of yarn classification according to the thickness (see Table 2, Table 2 of the 2008 edition;

---The number of points allowed for the cloth surface is changed from sub/m2 to sub/100m², and the first and second grade evaluation indicators are improved (see Table 3, Table 3 of the 2008 edition);

--- Removed the original Appendix B, Appendix C (see Appendix B, Appendix C of the 2008 edition), the original 2008 edition of Appendix D is adjusted to the current appendix B. Add a method for determining the quality of the slurry-free drying per unit area (see Appendix C).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the classification and identification, requirements, test and inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of cotton fabrics.

This standard applies to cotton-colored cloth produced by weaving. This standard does not apply to jacquard, cut pile fabrics and special fabrics.

3 Classification and identification

3.1 The product variety and specification classification of cotton color cloth shall be carried out according to the needs of users according to Appendix A.

3.2 The product identification of cotton fabric should include. warp production density (tex) × weft production process weft density (tex), Density (root/10cm) × weft density (root/10cm), width (cm), fabric structure.

Example: C14.8×JC9.8×2374×370158 plain weave

C--- carded cotton, JC---combed cotton, warp yarn density of 14.8 tex, weft yarn density of 9.8 tex × 2, warp 374 roots/10 cm, weft density 370 roots/10 cm, Width 158cm, plain weave.
