1 Foreword

JB/T 4037-2019 was issued by MIIT on 2 August 2019 and has been in force since 1 April 2020.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 4037-1993.

2 Scope

This standard is the Chinese machinery industry standard for phenolic laminated cloth cages used in rolling bearings. The cage material, phenolic laminated cloth, is commonly called textolite. It specifies the structure of these cages, their technical requirements, the inspection methods and the inspection rules, and the packaging, marking and storage provisions. It applies to the manufacture and inspection of the cages and to their acceptance by the user. The standard is recommended and carries the Chinese classification J11. It quotes GB/T 307.2-2005, GB/T 406-2018, GB/T 5132.2-2009, GB/T 8597-2013, GB/T 24608-2009 and FZ 66103-1995. It replaces JB/T 4037-2007.
