Scope
GB/T 40052-2021 is the English-translated version of 防腐胶合板.
GB/T 40052-2021 specifies preservative-treated plywood, made from veneers treated by the pressure method so that the panels resist decay, insects including termites, and marine borers.
It classifies the plywood by use class according to GB/T 27651-2011 and sets requirements for specifications and deviations, appearance quality, moisture content of 5% to 14%, bonding strength, immersion peeling, bending strength and modulus of elasticity, formaldehyde emission for indoor use, and preservative retention and penetration.
The test methods refer to GB/T 17657-2013, GB/T 23229, SB/T 10404-2006, LY/T 2374-2014 and AWPA methods for active ingredients such as HDO, DCOI, imidacloprid and quaternary ammonium compounds.
It also gives the factory and type inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transportation. It was issued on 30 April 2021 and has applied since 1 August 2021.
