GB/T 37216-2018 is the English-translated version of 卫生洁具便器用除臭冲水装置.

GB/T 37216-2018 is the Chinese national standard for deodorizing toilet flushing devices, which are fitted inside the toilet and use its flushing passage or dedicated fittings to draw off and break down odours.

It applies to gravity-type devices installed on cold water supplies with a static pressure of not more than 0.6 MPa.

It covers terms and definitions such as exhaust air rate, conditions of use, product classification, materials, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and instructions for use, packaging, transport and storage.

Normative annexes give the life test, the negative pressure effect test and the methods for determining the deodorization purification rate, the long-term deodorizing effect and the concentration of ozone escaping, and an informative annex covers installation and operation. It was issued on 28 December 2018 and has applied since 1 November 2019.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of the deodorizing flushing device for toilets, the conditions of use, product classification, materials, technical requirements, test methods, Inspection rules, signs, logos, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage.

This standard is applicable to gravity-type deodorizing flushing installed on the cold water pipe with static pressure not more than 0.6MPa. Device.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 6952 and GB/T 26730-2011 apply to this document.

3.1 Deodorizing flushing device

Integrated toilet flushing function, installed inside the toilet, using the toilet flushing passage or special accessories as the pumping passage, will be large A device for sucking and decomposing the odor gas generated by the process.

3.2 Exhaust air rate

The air volume discharged by the motor in a unit of time under the rated frequency and voltage conditions of the deodorizing flushing device.
