Scope
GB/T 37164-2018 is the English-translated version of 自走式农业机械导航系统作业性能要求及评价方法.
GB/T 37164-2018 sets the work performance requirements and the evaluation method for the automatic guidance systems fitted to self-propelled agricultural machinery such as tractors, combine harvesters and sprayers.
It defines the terms used, from the navigation system and its operator to the positioning device, and sets out the performance requirements, test conditions, test procedures, test report and performance grading of these systems.
It applies to guidance systems based on global navigation satellite positioning that are used together with self-propelled agricultural machines, and it draws on the straight and level travel test of ISO 12188-2:2012.
The results are used to grade how well a guidance system keeps the machine on its preset trajectory. It was issued on 28 December 2018 and has applied since 1 July 2019.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions of self-propelled agricultural machinery automatic navigation system (hereinafter referred to as "agricultural machinery navigation system"), performance Requirements, test conditions, test procedures, test reports and performance ratings.
This standard applies to agricultural machinery navigation systems (based on global navigation satellite positioning technology) used in conjunction with self-propelled agricultural machinery.

3.1 General terminology
3.1.1 Self-propelled agricultural machinery
Agricultural machinery with power and driving by the driver, such as tractors, combine harvesters and sprayers.
3.1.2 Agricultural machinery navigation system
A control system that automatically moves a self-propelled agricultural machine according to a preset trajectory.
3.1.3 Operator
The staff who operate or monitor the agricultural navigation system. [ISO 12188-2:2012, definition 2.1.11]
3.1.4 Positioning device
A device for determining and outputting the position of an antenna center point in a geographic coordinate system in real time using satellite radio navigation signals. [ISO 12188-2:2012, definition 2.1.1]
