Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document supersedes GB/T 20344-2006 "Electric Transmission Connectors for Agricultural Tractors and Machinery" and is consistent with GB/T 20344-2006. Compared to previous versions, aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) The scope has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2006 edition);

b) The terms and definitions for "contact," "socket," "receptacle," "plug," and "connector" have been changed (see 3.1, 3.3-3.6,.2006 edition). 3.1, 3.3~3.6);

c) The terms and definitions for "plug" and "power transmission connector" have been added (see 3.2, 3.7);

d) The terms and definitions for "pin" and "connection loop" have been removed (see

3.7 of the.2006 edition);

e) The requirements for the installation location of Type 1 connectors have been changed (see 4.1.1.3,

4.4 in the.2006 version);

f) The requirements for the Type 2 connector technical specifications have been changed (see 4.1.2.2,

5.2 of the.2006 edition);

g) The requirements for the installation location of Type 2 connectors have been changed (see 4.1.2.3,

5.4 of the.2006 version);

h) Requirements for Type 3 and Type 4 connectors have been added (see 4.1.3, 4.1.4);

1 Scope

GB/T 20344-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the electrical connector between a tractor and its implement - the pin assignment and the current rating, the sealing against mud and washing, the mechanical retention under vibration, and the interchangeability across makes. Issued on 31 October 2025, it has been in force since 1 May 2026, replacing GB/T 20344-2006.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Contact A conductive element on a connector that can form a circuit with a corresponding conductive element.

3.2 malecontact A contact that enables circuit conduction by contacting its outer surface with a socket-type contact.

3.3 female contact jack A contact that enables circuit conduction by having its inner surface contact a plug-in contact.

3.4 socket A connector with a socket that is installed on a tractor and used in conjunction with a plug.
