Scope

GB/T 36009-2018 is the English-translated version of 可编程序控制器性能评定方法.

GB/T 36009-2018 sets out how to evaluate the performance of programmable logic controllers (PLCs). After a clause of terms, definitions and abbreviations, it defines the performance indicators to be assessed and gives the test and evaluation methods for them.

The methods draw on the GB/T 2423 environmental tests, from low and high temperature, damp heat and temperature change to shock, free fall, sinusoidal vibration, mould growth and salt spray, and on the GB/T 17626 immunity tests for electrostatic discharge, radiated fields, fast transients, surges, conducted disturbances and voltage dips, together with the equipment requirements and programming languages of GB/T 15969.2 and GB/T 15969.3.

PLC manufacturers, test laboratories and users comparing controllers can apply it. It was issued on 15 March 2018 and has applied since 1 October 2018.
