Scope
GB/T 35997-2018 is the English-translated version of 生态安全港 生态风险因子分类、识别与控制.
GB/T 35997-2018 deals with the ecological risk factors that an ecological security port has to manage during its construction and operation. It covers how these factors are classified, where the risks come from, and how they are identified, controlled and monitored.
Its normative references show the ground it covers: food safety limits for mycotoxins, contaminants, pesticide residues and pathogens, air, noise, seawater and surface water quality, exhaust from marine and non-road engines, major hazard sources, gamma irradiation devices, pest and alien species risk analysis, aquatic animal diseases and nuclear and radiological events at frontier ports.
It is read together with GB/T 35947, the general rules for building such ports. It was issued on 15 March 2018 and has applied since 1 October 2018.
