This standard stipulates the requirements that public maps should follow in realms, important geographic information, and map representations.

This standard applies to the preparation of open maps, auditing and other activities.

Map open to the public.

3.2 Visualized electronic maps

The geographic information data is converted into a map or an image displayed on the electronic output.

3.3 Imported maps

Maps of products imported from abroad.

3.4 Export map exported maps

Maps of products exported from China's territory to overseas.

3.5 External processing map originalequipmentmanufacturermaps

Maps of products exported to overseas after processing in China.

4 Public Map Content Indicates General Requirements

4.1 General requirements

The map content indicates the following requirements.

a) The map is clearly visible and easy to read;

b) The name of the map should be consistent with the content and scope of the map expression;

c) The map's load should be appropriate;

d) The scale is expressed in words, diagrams or fractions;
