Scope

GB/T 34505-2017 is the English-translated version of 铜及铜合金材料 室温拉伸试验方法.

GB/T 34505-2017 is the Chinese national method for the tensile test on copper and copper alloy material at room temperature.

It gives the principle and the scope of the method, the definitions of the properties measured, the measurement of the specimen dimensions, the testing machine and its requirements, the conditions of the test, the determination of each property, the corrections applied to the measured values and the content of the test report.

It applies to the determination of the tensile properties of copper and copper alloys at room temperature. Mills, fabricators and their laboratories use it. Issued on 14 October 2017, it has applied since 1 May 2018.

Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the principles and scope of tensile testing methods for copper and copper alloy materials at room temperature, the definition of symbols and descriptions of terms, the sample and its ruler Inch measurement, test equipment, test requirements, performance measurement, measurement results revised value and test report.

This standard applies to the determination of copper and copper alloy tensile properties at room temperature.

This standard does not apply to special materials, such as composite, ultrafine, ultra-thin copper and copper alloy materials such as tensile properties at room temperature.
