Scope

GB/T 23609-2023 is the English-translated version of 海水淡化装置用铜合金无缝管.

GB/T 23609-2023 is the Chinese national standard for the seamless copper alloy tubes used in seawater desalination plant.

It fixes the classification and marking, the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions on marking, packaging, transport, storage, accompanying documents and the content of the order, and other desalination equipment may use it as a reference.

It covers the grades, tempers and codes of the tubes and their specifications, the tolerances on outside diameter, wall thickness and length, the mechanical properties, the residual carbon on the inner surface and the electrochemical corrosion performance, measured as the potential difference between the inner and outer surfaces.

It cites among others GB/T 5121, GB/T 5231, GB/T 26303.1, GB/T 33817 and YS/T 668. It replaces GB/T 23609-2009, was issued on 6 August 2023 and has applied since 1 March 2024.

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 23609-2009 "Copper Alloy Seamless Pipes for Seawater Desalination Units". Compared with GB/T 23609-2009, except In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) Added code names and changed the status representation method (see Table 1, Table 1 of the 2009 version);

b) Added a brand BFe10-1.5-1 and its two states (O61) and (O81); added a brand BFe10-1-1 (H55) status (see Table 1);

c) The specification range has been changed, the length range has been changed from "3000mm~8000mm" to "1000mm~9000mm", "6000mm~15000mm" is changed to "1000mm~25000mm", "8000mm~35000mm" is changed to "1000mm~35000mm" (see Table 2, Table 2 of the 2009 edition);

d) The allowable deviation of the outer diameter has been changed. from "0.08mm" to "0.06mm", from "0.10mm" to "0.08mm", from "0.12mm" is changed to "0.10mm", "0.15mm" is changed to "0.13mm", and "0.18mm" is changed to "0.16mm" was changed from "0.25mm" to "0.23mm", and a footnote was added "When the allowable deviation of the outer diameter is required to be all () or all When it is (-) one-way deviation, its value is twice the corresponding value in the table. " (See Table 3, Table 4 of the 2009 edition);

e) Added requirements for wall thickness allowable deviation. "When the minimum wall thickness is required, the wall thickness of any part of the pipe should not be less than the specified value." (see 5.2.2);

f) The roundness requirement is deleted (see 3.3.3 of the 2009 version);

g) The length allowable deviation has been changed. from "2.4mm" to "2.0mm", from "3.2mm" to "3.0mm", from "9.5mm" is changed to "9.0mm", and "12.7mm" is changed to "12.0mm" (see Table 4, Table 5 of the 2009 version);

h) Some mechanical property indicators have been changed (see Table 5, Table 6 of the 2009 version);

i) Changed the requirements for residual carbon content on the inner surface of pipes (see 5.8, 3.9 of the 2009 edition);

j) Added the detection method for the chemical composition of pipes, YS/T 482 or YS/T 483 (see 6.1);

k) The requirements for electrochemical corrosion performance have been changed from "determined by negotiation between the supplier and the buyer" to "the potential difference (deltaE) between the inner and outer surfaces of the pipe shall not Should be greater than 0.07V" (see 5.9, 3.10 of the 2009 edition);

l) The measurement method of overall dimensions and their allowable deviations has been changed from "measurement with appropriate measuring tools" to "according to GB/T 26303.1" "According to the regulations" (see 6.2, 4.2 of the 2009 version);

m) Changed the selection of tensile specimen number (see 6.3.1, 4.3.1 of the 2009 version);
