1 Scope
This standard specifies the lead-acid battery civilian security terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, including lead-acid batteries (hereinafter. the battery) flame retardant, explosion-proof and anti-acidity.
This standard applies to all types of lead-acid batteries civilian safety performance evaluation and certification.
This standard does not apply to lead-acid battery safety performance assessment and certification industry.

3 Terms and definitions, code
GB/T 2900.41 and defined the following terms and definitions, code applicable to this document.
3.1 Terms and Definitions
3.1.1 civillead-acidbattery
In the process of using the battery, the elderly, children and other non-professionals may be exposed to lead-acid batteries. The electric bikes sealed lead-acid batteries, small VRLA batteries, lead-acid batteries for motorcycles, mini VRLA batteries, lead-acid starter batteries.
3.1.2 industrial lead-acid battery
The battery during use, only by professionals may be exposed to lead-acid batteries. Railroad passenger car lead-acid batteries, lead-acid storage batteries, VRLA stationary batteries, fixed exhaust-acid batteries, lead-acid traction batteries.
3.1.3 ambient temperature
5mm around the battery or batteries within the medium temperature.
