Scope

GB/T 31070.2-2018 is the English-translated version of 楼寓对讲系统第2部分:全数字系统技术要求.

GB/T 31070.2-2018 sets the technical requirements for all-digital building intercom systems, in which every audio and video signal is processed digitally and carried over a wired digital transmission network.

It covers the system structure, basic and extended functions and the configuration management system, and performance requirements for audio and video characteristics, power supply voltage adaptability, environmental adaptability, safety, electromagnetic compatibility, network and information security, and marking and mechanical structure.

For each of these it gives a test method, then sets out the accompanying documentation and the inspection rules, with test categories, sampling and decision rules.

It defines terms such as audio delay, intercom terminal and audio switching time, and applies to building intercom systems using digital processing technology. It was issued on 28 December 2018 and has applied since 1 July 2019.

This part is the second part of GB/T 31070.

This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 31070 specifies the system structure, functional requirements, performance requirements, test methods, and descriptions of the all-digital building intercom system. Documents and inspection rules.

This section applies to the building intercom system using digital processing technology.

3 Terms, definitions and abbreviations

3.1 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 31070.1-2014 apply to this document.

3.1.1 All-digital building intercom system

All audio and video signals that make up the device use digital processing technology and are based on the cable intercom system of the cable digital transmission network.

3.1.2 Audio delay

The one-way delay time required for the audio signal to be excited from the local intercom terminal to the remote intercom terminal.

3.1.3 Intercom terminal

In the system, a device that can establish a call.

Note 1. Intercom terminals include management machines, guest callers and user receivers.

Note 2. When other devices such as smartphones, tablets, etc. are connected to the system network, they should not be regarded as intercom terminals, but only as extension devices of user receivers.

3.1.4 Echo suppression

The local intercom terminal transmits the voice signal transmitted from the far end to the remote end.

3.1.5 Audio conversion time

The time it takes for the audio transmission channel to switch from one direction to the other.
