GB/T 31070.4-2018 is the English-translated version of 楼寓对讲系统第4部分：应用指南.

GB/T 31070.4-2018 is the application guide in the Chinese series on building intercom systems, following a system from design to day-to-day operation.

For system design it deals with system structure, functions, performance, environment, power supply, lightning protection and grounding, the management centre, the choice of system and equipment, and the transmission mode, cable selection and wiring.

It then sets requirements for engineering construction and system debugging, engineering inspection, project acceptance, and operation and maintenance management.

It distinguishes analog, all-digital and mixed building intercom systems and covers wireless extension terminals such as mobile phones and tablets. It applies to the design, construction, inspection, acceptance, operation and maintenance of building intercom systems, together with GB/T 31070.1 and GB/T 31070.2. GB/T 31070 "Building House Intercom System" is divided into 4 parts.

--- Part 1. General technical requirements;

This part is the fourth part of GB/T 31070.

This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 31070 stipulates the system design, engineering construction, engineering inspection, engineering acceptance and system operation of the building intercom system. And maintenance and other requirements.

This part is applicable to the design, construction, inspection, acceptance, operation and maintenance of the intercom system.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 31070.1-2014 and GB/T 31070.2 apply to this document.

3.1 Analog building intercom system

The equipment audio and video adopts analog signal processing technology and communication transmission using the fieldbus intercom system.

3.2 All-digital building intercom system

All audio and video signals that make up the device use digital processing technology and are based on the cable intercom system of the cable digital transmission network.

3.3 Mixed building intercom system

Audio and video collection and processing using analog and digital technology, communication transmission using fieldbus and digital network technology, building intercom system.

3.4 Wireless extension terminal

A device that implements some functions of a user receiver through a wireless technology access system.

Note: The wireless extension terminal can be a mobile phone, a tablet, or the like.
