Scope

GB/T 30163-2023 is the English-translated version of 高炉用高风温顶燃式热风炉节能技术规范.

GB/T 30163-2023 is the Chinese technical specification for high blast temperature top-fired hot blast stoves on ironmaking blast furnaces, for the design, installation and commissioning of stoves on new, extended or rebuilt furnaces.

It sets out the principle and process flow, then the technical requirements: the calorific value of the blast furnace gas, the refractory bricks for the burner, the materials for the regenerator and the furnace shell and their weld points, the use of flue gas waste heat to preheat pulverised coal, the grate support system, emission limits for nitrogen oxides and sulfur dioxide, and furnace shell surface temperatures part by part, with monitoring at the dome and hot blast outlet.

It also covers testing, the operating regime and energy-saving evaluation. It replaces GB/T 30163-2013, was issued on 27 November 2023 and has applied since 1 June 2024.

Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 30163-2013 "Technical Specifications for Energy Saving of High Wind Temperature Top-Fired Hot Blast Stoves for Blast Furnaces" and is consistent with GB/T 30163- Compared with 2013, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) Changes in terms and definitions (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the 2013 edition);

b) Added top-fired hot blast stove flow chart (see Figure 1 and Figure 2);

c) The basic requirements for top-fired hot blast stoves have been changed (see 5.1, 5.1 in the 2013 edition);

d) The calorific value of blast furnace gas has been changed (see Table 2, Table 2 of the 2013 version);

e) Added requirements for refractory bricks for top-fired hot blast stove burners (see 5.4);

f) The requirements for top-fired hot blast furnace regenerator materials, furnace shell materials and material welding points have been changed (see 5.5, 2013 version of 5.5);

g) Added requirements for top-fired hot blast stove flue gas waste heat to be used for pulverized coal preheating (see 5.6);

h) The requirements for the grate support system have been changed (see 5.7.2, 2013 version of 5.7.2);

i) Added emission requirements for pollutants such as nitrogen oxides and sulfur dioxide in the flue gas of top-fired hot blast stoves, and the requirements for the hot blast stove vault and hot blast outlet Requirements for furnace shell surface temperature detection in equal high temperature zones (see 5.8);

j) The furnace shell temperature requirements for different parts have been changed (see Table 9, Table 9 of the 2013 version);

k) Deleted the calculation of bulk thermal efficiency (see 6.4 of the 2013 edition);

l) The operating system and requirements for top-fired hot blast stoves have been changed (see Table 10, Table 10 of the 2013 version);

m) Added requirements for energy saving evaluation of top-fired hot blast stoves (see 8.1 and 8.2).

1 Scope

This document stipulates the principles and processes, technical requirements, tests, operating systems and energy-saving evaluation of high-temperature top-fired hot blast stoves for blast furnaces.

This document is applicable to high-temperature top-fired hot-blast stoves (referred to as top-fired hot-blast stoves) used in newly built, expanded or renovated blast furnaces for iron-making blast furnaces in iron and steel enterprises. Furnace) design, installation and commissioning, etc.
