Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 25604-2010 "earthmoving machinery terminology and commercial specifications." This standard and GB/T 25604-2010, in addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

--- Modify the normative references, delete GB/T 10168 and GB/T 14781 two references (see Chapter 2, 2010 Year version of Chapter 2);

--- Modify the English definition of fork, "paletfork" to "forkarm", and added the contents of the note (see 3.3.4, 2010 edition 3.3.1.5);

--- Modify the annotation of Figure 7, redefined Figure 10 is "track turning steering crawlerpivotsteer", Figure 11 for the "track alone Steer or Track Slip Steering crawlerindependentsteerorcrawlerskidsteer "(see 4.1.3.3, 4.1.3.6 and 4.1.3.7, 2010 edition 4.1.3);

--- Modify the description in Figure 16 and replace "Rocker belcrank" with "Z-link link, Z-bar" and delete the legend (see 5.1, 2010 version 5.1);

--- Modify Figure 21 and Figure 24 (see 5.2, 2010 version 5.2);

--- Modify the term net engine power (see 6.1, 2010 version 6.1);

--- Increase the maximum lift to enhance the ability of the term (see 6.3);

--- Modify the appendix A symbols HH14, HH15, LL5 and AA5 corresponding to the legend;

--- Modify the reference;

--- Updated Chinese index and English index.

This standard uses the translation method identical with ISO 7131:2009 "earthmoving machinery terminology and commercial specifications." the documents of our country that are consistent with the corresponding international documents that are normative references in this standard are as follows.

For ease of use, this standard made the following editorial changes.

--- Extend the length of the GRP indicator line in Figure 15 to avoid ambiguity;

--- Figure 17 added sub-graph title, to avoid ambiguity;

--- Adjust the angle of "AA5" marked position in Figure 18;

--- Added Chinese and English index.

This standard specifies the GB/T 8498 as defined in the earthwork for the self-track and wheel loaders and their working device Terminology and commercial specifications and technical documents.
