Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 23957-2009 "Light Calcium Carbonate for Toothpaste Industry". Compared with GB/T 23957-2009, except for structural adjustment In addition to the overall and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

---Changed the indicators of pH and iron content (see 5.2, 4.2 in the 2009 edition);

---Added the water absorption index and measurement method (see 5.2, 6.18);

--- Deleted the arsenic spot method in the arsenic content determination method (see 5.15 in the 2009 edition);

--- Deleted the dithizone colorimetric method in the lead content determination method (see 5.16 in the 2009 edition).

1 Scope

This document specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, labels, packaging, transportation and storage of light calcium carbonate used in the toothpaste industry.

This document applies to light calcium carbonate used in the toothpaste industry.

Note: This product is used as a friction agent in toothpaste.
