Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 23288-2009 "General Technical Conditions for Wooden Urns". Compared with GB/T 23288-2009, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) The terminology definitions of "wooden urn" and "box" have been changed (see 3.1, 3.5, 3.2, 3.9 of the 2009 version);

b) The terms and definitions of "urn" and "blank" are deleted (see 3.1 and 3.6 of the 2009 edition);

c) Added the terms and definitions of "main components of the urn", "card strips", "accessories" and "main materials" (see 3.11, 3.12, 3.13, 3.14);

d) Changed material requirements (see 4.1, 4.5 of the 2009 version);

e) Changed the performance requirements (see 4.6, 4.2 of the 2009 version);

f) Added appearance, size, shape and position tolerance requirements (see 4.3, 4.4, 4.5);

g) The physical and chemical performance requirements have been changed (see 4.7, 4.3 of the 2009 version);

h) The process requirements, mechanical properties and specification requirements are deleted (see 4.6, 4.7 and 4.8 of the 2009 edition);

i) Change "environmental protection requirements" to "hazardous substance limits" (see 4.8, 4.4 of the 2009 version);

j) Added testing methods for materials and environmental conditions of use (see 5.1 and 5.2);

k) The appearance inspection method has been changed (see 5.3, 5.1 of the 2009 version);

l) The main dimensional measurements have been changed (see 5.4, 5.2 of the 2009 version);

m) Added shape and position tolerance measurement methods (see 5.5);

n) Changed the measurement method of service performance (see 5.6, 5.3 of the 2009 version);

o) Changed the measurement method of physical and chemical properties (see 5.7, 5.5 of the 2009 version);

p) Added the method for determining the limit of hazardous substances (see 5.8);

q) Changed the "Inspection Rules" chapter (see Chapter 6, Chapter 6 of the 2009 edition);

r) Added a chapter on "Identification" (see Chapter 7);

s) Changed the "Packaging, Transportation and Storage" chapter (see Chapter 8, Chapter 7 of the 2009 edition).

1 Scope

This document specifies the requirements, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of wooden urns, and describes test methods.

This document applies to the production, use and inspection of wooden urns.
