Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 20398-2006 "Walnut Nut Quality Grade", compared with GB/T 20398-2006, the main technical changes as follows.

--- Changed the scope (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 2006 edition);

---The normative references have been changed (see Chapter 2, Chapter 2 of the 2006 edition);

---Added terms and definitions "walnut nut", "walnut kernel", "uniformity", "different color kernel", "defective fruit (kernel)", "impurity" (see 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.5, 3.7, 3.8);

---Changed some terms and definitions (see 3.4, 3.6, 3.7.4, and the 2006 version of 3.5, 3.7, 3.9);

--- Deleted some terms and definitions (see the 2006 version 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.6, 3.8, 3.10, 3.11);

---Change the quality requirements (see Chapter 4, Chapter 4 of the 2006 edition);

---Deleted the sanitary indicator requirements (see Chapter 5 of the 2006 edition);

---Change the inspection method (see Chapter 5, Chapter 6 of the 2006 edition);

---Change the inspection rules (see Chapter 6, Chapter 7 of the 2006 edition);

---Added labels and logos (see Chapter 7);

---Change the requirements of packaging, storage and transportation (see Chapter 8, Chapter 8 of the 2006 edition).

1 Scope

This document specifies the quality requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, labeling and identification, as well as packaging, storage and transportation of walnut nuts and walnut kernels. The requirement to lose.

This document is applicable to the sale and inspection of walnut nuts and walnut kernel products that have not been processed by the ripening process.
