GB/T 19970-2026 is the English-translated version of 无核白葡萄.

GB/T 19970-2026 is the Chinese national standard covering the Thompson seedless grape as a graded product - bunch and berry size, colour and uniformity, soluble solids, the defects and the tolerances at each grade. It replaces GB/T 19970-2005 and takes effect on 1 December 2026. It was issued on 25 May 2026 and takes effect on 1 December 2026, replacing GB/T 19970-2005. The document is under the responsibility of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 19970-2005 "Seedless White Grapes". Compared with GB/T 19970-2005, the main differences are structural adjustments and editorial changes. Aside from the modifications, the main technical changes are as follows:

---The description of "scope" has been adjusted, and the Latin name for seedless white grapes has been added (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2005 edition);

---The terminology and definition for seedless white grapes have been removed (see section

3.1 of the.2005 edition);

---The definition of moldy fruit pieces has been changed (see 3.1,

4.1 Basic Requirements

4.1.1 Maturity that possesses the inherent characteristics of this variety and meets the requirements for market circulation and storage.

4.1.2 The fruit clusters are intact, the fruit stalks and cluster stalks are intact and fresh, and the berries are uniform in size.

4.1.3 No off-odor, no abnormal moisture, no obvious defects or moldy fruit.

4.2 Grade Quality Requirements Fresh fruits that meet the basic requirements are divided into three grades. premium, grade one, and grade two. The quality requirements for each grade are shown in Table 1.

5 Test methods

5.1 Sensory Indicators Twenty ears of fruit were randomly selected from the batch of goods. The samples were placed in a clean white container and observed visually under natural light. Examine the fruit stems, berries, color, density, and taste.

5.2 Physicochemical Indicators

5.2.1 Grain weight and ear weight The weight of each grain was measured using an electronic scale with an accuracy of 0.01g, and the average value of 100 grains was taken. The weight of the ear was measured using a measuring instrument with an accuracy of 0.1g or higher. The quantity is the average value of 10 ears.

5.2.2 Soluble solids Perform in accordance with the provisions of NY/T 2637.

5.2.3 Total acid Perform in accordance with GB 12456.

6 Inspection Rules

6.1 Batching Grapes from the same origin, of the same grade, and harvested at the same time are considered as one batch.

6.2 Sampling Method Perform in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 8855.

6.3 Delivery Inspection Before each batch of goods is delivered, it shall be inspected in accordance with the grade and quality requirements specified in this document, and a certificate of conformity shall be attached to the packaging box.

6.4 Judgment Rules

6.4.1 If all inspected items comply with the requirements of this document, the batch of products is deemed to comply with this document. If any non-compliance is found in the inspection results... For each item not meeting the requirements, double sampling is permitted for re-inspection of the batch of products. If the re-inspection still finds any item not meeting the requirements of this document, the entire batch of products will be deemed non-compliant. The product does not conform to this document.

6.4.2 Provided that the basic requirements are met, if the entire batch of products does not exceed the allowable limit specified for a certain grade, it is judged to comply with that grade of this document. If If the tolerance is exceeded, the product will be inspected according to the lower-level tolerance until a grade is determined. If the product is below grade two, it will be classified as an ungraded product.

7 Labeling, Packaging, Transportation and Storage

7.1 Labeling Perform in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 191 and NY/T 1778.

7.2 Packaging

7.2.1 Packaging materials and containers should be breathable, meet the needs of storage, transportation, sales and safety, and be easy to load, unload and handle. Packaging materials should preferably be perforated plastic crates, perforated foam boxes, or perforated cardboard boxes. Other requirements should also comply with the relevant provisions of GB/T 34343 and GB/T 34344. Require.

7.2.2 The packaging method shall comply with the provisions of GB 43284.

7.3 Transportation and Storage

7.3.1 It is advisable to use a variety of transportation methods such as pre-cooled transport, refrigerated trucks or refrigerated containers, and refrigeration shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 16862.

7.3.2 The storage area should be clean and tidy, and should not be stored together with harmful or toxic substances.
