Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 27659-2011 "Grading and Classification of Seedless Watermelons". Compared with GB/T 27659-2011, the main differences are structural adjustments and... Aside from editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

---The scope has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2011 edition);

---Terminology and definitions have been changed (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the.2011 edition);

---The grading has been changed (see 4.1,.2011 version 4.1);

4 Grading and Classification

4.1 According to GB/T 40446, it is divided into three grades. Special Grade, Grade 1 and Grade 2.

4.2 According to the weight of a single fruit, they are divided into three specifications. large fruit type, medium fruit type and small fruit type.

5.1 Basic Requirements

5.1.1 The fruit is upright, normally developed, and has the typical morphological characteristics of this variety.

5.1.2 It has the inherent flavor of this variety and has no off-flavors.

5.1.3 Fresh, clean, and free from rot.

5.1.4 The maturity level should possess the inherent flavor of this variety and meet the requirements for market circulation and storage.

5.1.5 The cross-section of the pulp has the inherent color of this variety when it is moderately ripe, with a uniform texture, no hard lumps, no hollow centers, and no white veins.

5.2 Quality Classification The sensory indicators of fruits of all types and grades should meet the requirements of Table 1.

5.3 Physicochemical Indicators The physicochemical properties of fruits of all types and grades should meet the requirements of Table 2.

6.1 Sensory Indicators

6.1.1 Color, fruit shape, fruit surface color and stripes, cross-section, and normal seeds are inspected by visual inspection.

6.1.2 The colored chaff is cut open for inspection.

6.1.3 The white chaff is cut open for inspection.

6.1.4 Taste and odor are tested by tasting and smelling.

6.1.5 The weight of a single fruit shall be measured using a platform scale, accurate to one decimal place.

6.1.6 Fruit surface defects shall be inspected by a combination of visual inspection and instrument measurement. If two or more different fruit surface defects are present on the same fruit, only... Record the item that has the most significant impact on quality.

6.2 Physicochemical Indicators

6.2.1 Soluble solids test. Measure the soluble solids content of the pulp in the central and near-skin areas. Other measurements shall conform to NY/T 2637. The requirements must be followed.

6.2.2 Determination of peel thickness. The sampled fruit was longitudinally cut open from the middle of the shady and sunny sides, past the stem and the navel, and measured with a measuring instrument. Use calipers to measure the thickness of the peel on the sunny side of the fruit in the middle, accurate to one decimal place.

7 Inspection Rules

7.1 Inspection Batch Seedless watermelons of the same variety, grade, and from the same batch of purchase, storage, transportation, and sale are considered as one inspection batch.

7.2 Sampling It shall be implemented in accordance with GB/T 8855.

7.3 Judgment Rules

7.3.1 If all inspection items meet the requirements of this document for this level, then it is determined to be of the corresponding level in this document.

7.3.2 If any non-conformity is found in the inspection items, double the sampling rate from the batch of products is allowed for one re-inspection of the non-conformity. 8.1 Packaging

8.1.1 Seedless watermelons in the same package should maintain the same variety, origin, quality, and size.

8.1.2 Packaging containers should be clean, free from contamination, breathable, and possess sufficient strength. When using woven bags, they should comply with GB/T 8946. Regulation.

8.1.3 Packaging markings shall comply with the relevant provisions of NY/T 1778.

8.2 Tags The label should indicate the name, variety, grade, implementation standard, place of origin, net weight, packaging date, producer, etc., and can generate a QR code for product use. Product traceability. Packaging and storage pictorial markings shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 191.
