Scope
GB/T 19068.1-2017 is the English-translated version of 小型风力发电机组 第1部分:技术条件.
GB/T 19068.1-2017 sets the technical conditions for small wind turbines, the first of three parts that also cover test methods and wind tunnel testing.
It deals with the general requirements, working conditions, performance requirements and safety requirements of the unit, together with the documents that must accompany it, painting, marking and packaging, test methods, inspection rules and after-sales service.
It applies to small horizontal axis wind turbines with a swept area of not more than 200 m², working below AC 1000 V or DC 1500 V, whether grid-connected or off-grid.
Model designation follows JB/T 7879, and design loads, aerodynamic and structural design follow GB/T 13981 and GB/T 17646-2017. It replaces GB/T 19068.1-2003, was issued on 1 November 2017 and has applied since 1 May 2018.

Foreword
GB/T 19068 "small wind turbine" is divided into the following three sections.
--- Part 1. Technical conditions;
--- Part 2. Test methods;
--- Part 3. Wind tunnel test methods.
This section GB/T 19068 Part 1.
This section drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
This Part replaces GB/T 19068.1-2003 "off-grid wind turbine generator Part 1 Technical conditions." This section compared with GB/T 19068.1-2003, in addition to editorial changes outside the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Expand the scope of this section (see Chapter 1, 2003 edition Chapter 1);
--- Adjust the contents of the generator unit (see 4.1.5, 2003 version 3.3.9);
--- Reflects the GB/T 17646 design grade grading ideas and methods and modify the working conditions of the content (see 4.2, 2003 edition Of 3.2);
--- Revised cut-in wind speed and rated wind speed requirements (see 4.3.1, 2003 version 3.3.1);
--- Modify the maximum working speed of the unit requirements (see 4.3.6, 2003 version 3.3.6);
--- Increase the wind turbine wind turbine utilization factor and the efficiency of the machine prerequisites, modify the machine efficiency requirements (see 4.3.9 and 4.3.10 and 2003.12 and 3.3.13);
--- Removed the rotor unit swept area material requirements (see 2003 version 3.3.14);
--- Adjust the contents of the cables and wires (see GB/T 19068.2-2017 5.4.5, this part of the 2003 edition of 3.3.17);
--- Increased power characteristics of the test requirements (see 4.3.14);
--- Increased durability test requirements (see 4.3.15);
--- Adjust and modify the contents of the safety requirements (see 4.4, 2003 version 3.1.6, 3.3.7 and 3.3.11);
--- The technical manual in the documentary requirement adds the power characteristic curve and the reference annual power generation (AEP) requirement [see 5.3c) and d)];
--- Increased unit nameplate (SWT) level requirements (see 6.2).
