Scope
GB/T 36996-2018 is the English-translated version of 风力发电机组用永磁盘式无铁芯发电机.
GB/T 36996-2018 covers permanent magnet disc-type coreless generators used in wind turbines rated from 0.3 kW to 100 kW, built as three-phase AC synchronous machines.
It defines the model designation, rated power, cooling method, mounting arrangement, number of outlets and rated speed.
Its technical requirements include environmental conditions, insulation resistance, cold DC resistance, withstand voltage, interturn insulation, overspeed, starting resistance torque, bearing temperature, efficiency, no-load and load characteristic curves, overload, short-circuit mechanical strength, protection level, vibration, noise, electromagnetic compatibility and safety, each with its test method.
It also gives factory and type inspection rules and requirements for marking, packaging, the instruction manual and the warranty. It was issued on 28 December 2018 and has applied since 1 July 2019.
