Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 18924-2002 "wire bundle box", compared with GB/T 18924-2002, except editorial modification The technical changes are as follows.

--- Revised the scope of the expression method, clearly proposed not applicable to wire bundled lattice boxes (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 2002 edition);

--- Increased the type and requirements of pallet binding boxes (see 3.1.2, 5.2);

--- Revised the type of wood (see 4.1.1.1, 2002 version 4.1.1.1);

--- Increased wire diameter requirements for steel wire and staples (see 4.1.3.1);

--- Added assembly and strapping chapters; adjusted the original 3.1.2 to 5.3.2, adding 5.3.3 (see 5.3, 2002 edition 3.1.2);

--- Modified the name of Figure 2 (see Figure 2, 2002 version 2);

--- Removed the sealing section and included its contents in Appendix A (see Appendix A, Chapter 6 of the 2002 edition);

--- Removed the Test and Inspection section (see Chapter 7 of the 2002 edition).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the type and grade, basic requirements, structure and size of the wire binding box for transportation and packaging.

This standard applies to the design, manufacture and inspection of wire-bonded closed boxes. This standard does not apply to wire bundled lattice boxes.
