1 Scope

GB/T 18927-2025 is the Chinese national standard on packaging container - metal accessory, in the field of packaging and distribution of goods. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. 3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 4122.4 and the following apply to this document.

3.1 Metal accessories Metal parts used in transport packaging containers for structural reinforcement and/or auxiliary functions.

4 General requirements

4.1 Unless otherwise specified, various metal accessories should be made of hot-rolled steel plates specified in GB/T 709 or ordinary carbon steel specified in GB/T 700. And high-quality carbon structural steel specified in GB/T 699.

4.2 Dimensional tolerances shall comply with the IT14 tolerance grade requirements specified in GB/T 1800.2-2020.

4.3 Metal accessories should be treated to prevent rust.

4.4 The surface of metal accessories should be smooth and free of burrs.

4.5 The structural type and size requirements of metal accessories can be changed appropriately according to the conditions of the packaging container, but the size requirements should not be less than those in this document. Regulation.
