Foreword

This standard replaces GB/T 13144-1991 "packaging container bamboo plywood box." This standard compared with GB/T 13144-1991, the main changes are as follows:

--- Bamboo plywood box in a predetermined hierarchy, and adds support for C, D type rating box contents;

--- In the material requirements, modify the content of wood, metal pieces, an increase of timber fumigation or heat treatment requirements;

--- Deleted the content of the bamboo Magnesite concrete box;

--- Information about content protection methods;

--- Remove the formulas in Appendix C skids, sleepers size, regulations skids, sleepers size reference GB/T 7284 related content. 1 Scope

GB/T 13144-2008 is the Chinese national standard on packaging containers - cases with plybamboo, in the field of packaging and distribution of goods. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it.
