Foreword

This standard replaces GB 18224-2000, Safety code for the bridge type grab ship unloader.

Compared with GB 18224-2000, the main technical differences of this standard are as follows:

- the statement in the Scope that similar ship unloaders used at power plants, steel works and raw material wharves may refer to this standard has been deleted;

- the detailed requirements for the equipment records of the ship unloader have been deleted, and requirements for the overall stability of the ship unloader have been added (see 3.5);

- the grab and the lift are each dealt with in a separate clause (see Clause 5 and Clause 7);

- the fleet angle of the wire rope entering and leaving the sheave has been modified (see 4.3.2);

- the requirements for the gantry travel rails have been deleted, and the loosening of trolley rail clamping plates has been added (see 4.7);

- the content relating to the operator's cab has been modified (see Clause 6);

- requirements for the main hydraulic components have been added (see Clause 8);

- the requirements for the lubrication method of the ship unloader have been deleted;

- the requirement that the lighting power supply and the power supply for the drives shall be provided separately has been added (see 11.2.4);

- requirements for the electrical system at the hinged joints of the metal structure have been added (see 11.5.4);

- the requirement for the overall error of the overload limiter has been adjusted; the requirements for skew adjustment and the display device have been deleted;

- content on the wind speed alarm has been added (see 12.7).

This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Communications of the People's Republic of China.
