3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
Topographic map for the scan job.
3.2
Arrangement of data having different "gray value" according to the rows and columns of the grid after scanning picture by scanner.
3.3
After topographic map digitization process operation, the topographic map data after the editing process by the schema specification is used to check the number of output by the plotter

4 Professional equipment requirements
4.1 Scanner
The scanner should meet the following requirements.
a) scanning resolution is generally not less than 12/mm (300dpi);
b) Effective scanning area is not less than 841mm × 597mm (A1 format).
4.2 Plotter
FIG output for checking plotters should meet the following requirements.
a) Resolution of 10 points/mm (254dpi);
