Scope

GB/T 15576-2020 is the English-translated version of 低压成套无功功率补偿装置.

GB/T 15576-2020 is the Chinese national standard on low-voltage reactive power compensation assemblies, in the field of electrical engineering. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 19 November 2020 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 June 2021. Classification: ICS 29.120.50, CCS K31. This page is published from the official record of the standard held by the Chinese standards administration: the identification, the dates, the classification and the issuing body are taken from there. The clause text, the tables and the numeric limits are in the document itself, which is delivered complete in English translation.

Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB/T 15576-2008 "Low-Voltage Complete Reactive Power Compensation Device". Compared with GB/T 15576-2008, the main technical changes of this standard are as follows:

---Reorganized the overall structure;

---Modified the term "low-voltage complete reactive power compensation device", "centralized compensation device", "grouped compensation device", "terminal compensation device" Definitions of "inrush current" and "rated total capacity" (see 3.1, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5,

3.7 and 3.14, 3.1~3.5,

3.13 in the.2008 edition);

--- Added the term "integrated low-voltage reactive power compensation device" (see 3.2);

---Added the performance requirements and design verification of the integrated low-voltage reactive power compensation device (see

---Modified two classification methods according to the number of compensation phases and according to the type of switching capacitor components (see

4.3 and 4.4,.2008 edition

---Increased the requirements for the protection level of ultraviolet radiation, mechanical strength, lifting device, device shell, and external wire terminal Its verification method (see 7.1.4, 7.1.5, 7.1.6, 7.2, 7.7, 9.2.4, 9.2.5, 9.2.6,

---Modified the verification method and changed the type test to design verification (see Chapter 9, Chapter 6 of the.2008 edition);

---Modified the verification method, the factory test was changed to routine inspection (see Chapter 10, Chapter 7 of the.2008 edition);

---Modified the specified values of clearances and creepage distances and their verification methods (see

7.1.4 of the.2008 edition);

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, conditions of use, structure, and structure of low-voltage complete reactive power compensation devices (hereinafter referred to as devices). Performance requirements, design verification and routine inspections. This standard applies to low-voltage complete sets of reactive power with rated AC voltage not exceeding 1000V (or 1140V) and frequency not exceeding 1000Hz Rate compensation device.
