NB/T 31038-2012 is the English-translated version of 风力发电用低压成套无功功率补偿装置.
NB/T 31038-2012 is the Chinese energy industry standard for low-voltage reactive power compensation assemblies used in wind power generation. It gives the terms and definitions, the classification of the assemblies, their conditions of use, the performance requirements they must satisfy and the tests by which those requirements are verified.
It applies to compensation devices with a rated alternating voltage of not more than 1000 V and a rated frequency of not more than 1000 Hz. The requirements draw on GB 4208, GB/T 14549, GB/T 20641, GB/T 21714, the GB/T 2423 series of environmental tests and IEC 61439-1-2011. Issued on 29 October 2012, it has applied since 1 March 2013.
