Scope

GB/T 15370.3-2025 is the English-translated version of 农业拖拉机 通用技术条件 第3部分:130 kW以上轮式拖拉机.

GB/T 15370.3-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the big wheeled tractor above 130 kW — the technical requirements for the engine, transmission, hydraulics and three-point linkage, the power take-off and drawbar power, the braking and the low-temperature starting, the exhaust opacity and the freedom from leaks, the test methods, the delivery and marking, and the inspection rules, which sample for a small population because tractors this size are not built in ordinary quantities. Part 3 of the series. It replaces GB/T 15370.3-2012, under the China Machinery Industry Federation. In force from 1 September 2025. Issued on 28 February 2025, it has been in force since 1 September 2025, replacing GB/T 15370.3-2012.

6 Inspection rules

6.1 Exit-factory inspection

6.2 Type inspection

6.2.1 Timing of type inspection

Type inspection shall be conducted under any of the following circumstances.

a) When a newly developed tractor is finalized and approved;

b) When the design is improved after formal production, with significant changes to the structure, principle, and important components;

c) Every 5 years after formal production;

d) When production resumes after a 12-month hiatus;

e) When the exit-factory inspection results differ significantly from the previous type inspection.

6.2.2 Inspection items

6.2.2.1 For tractors falling under the category of 6.2.1 a), type inspection shall include all machine parameter measurements, performance tests, and machine usage tests, or component bench durability tests and machine reliability tests may be used in place of machine usage tests.

If the design falls under the tractor series, all models with different power outputs shall undergo overall parameter measurement and performance testing. The inspection items shall conform to JB/T 6294.Other tests, such as overall machine usage testing and reliability assessment, may be conducted only on the model with the highest power output. Engines installed in other models shall meet the engine reliability requirements.

NOTE 1.Tractor series design refers to the design of a group of tractor models that use the same chassis (transmission system) but have optional other systems. All models use the same series number.

NOTE 2.If the tractor's performance indicators do not change when replacing the engine with a different brand or power, then the test data results of the tractor model with the same series of engines but equipped with other brands or power shall be used.

6.2.2.2 For tractors falling under the category of 6.2.1 b), type inspection shall include full machine performance testing and bench durability testing or overall machine reliability testing of significantly improved components.

6.2.2.3 The type inspection of tractors falling under the conditions c)~e) in 6.2.1 shall be carried out according to the items listed in Table 1.

6.2.3 Non-conformity classification

Any item inspected that does not meet the requirements stipulated in Chapter 4 is considered a nonconformity. Based on the degree of impact on product quality, nonconformities are classified into Category A, Category B, Category C, and Category D. See Table 1 for the nonconformity classifications.

6.2.4 Sampling plan

6.2.4.1 Sampling shall be conducted according to the provisions of Tables B.1 and B.2 in GB/T 2828.11-2008.Generally, the total number of products inspected is 10 units.
