Scope

GB/T 15055-2021 is the English-translated version of 冲压件未注公差尺寸极限偏差.

GB/T 15055-2021 fixes the tolerance grades and limit deviations that apply to the linear and angular dimensions of stamping pieces when the drawing carries no tolerance indication.

It defines blanking size, forming size, blanking corner radius, forming corner radius and blanking angle, and divides the limit deviations into the four descending grades f, m, c and v.

It then gives the limit deviations for blanking size, forming size, corner radius size and angular size, and the way a grade is written on drawings and technical documents, for example GB/T 15055-m.

It applies to metal stamping pieces, may be used as a reference for non-metal ones, and its deviations cover non-fitted dimensions. It cites GB/T 8541. It replaces GB/T 15055-2007, was issued on 11 October 2021 and has applied since 1 May 2022.

1 Scope

This document specifies linear and angular dimension tolerance grades and limit deviations of stamping pieces without tolerance indication.

This document applies to metal stamping pieces. Non-metal stamping pieces may refer to this document.

The limit deviations specified in this document apply to non-fitted dimensions.

3 Terms and definitions

For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions defined in GB/T 8541 as well as the followings apply.

3.1 Blanking size

The linear dimensions of stamping pieces processed by blanking, punching and other separation processes (see D, d, s1, s2 in Figure 1).

3.2 Forming size

The linear dimensions of stamping pieces processed by bending, deep drawing and other forming processes (see l1, l2, d1, h, h1 in Figure 2 and Figure 3).

3.3 Blanking corner radius

The linear dimension of the corner radius of the stamping piece processed by blanking, punching and other separation processes (see R in Figure 4).

3.4 Forming corner radius

The linear dimension of the corner radius of the stamping part processed by bending, deep drawing and other forming processes (see r, r1, r2, r3 in Figure 2 and Figure 3).

3.5 Blanking angle

At the plane of the flat or formed piece, the angular dimension formed by blanking (see alpha in Figure 4)

4 Tolerance grades

The limit deviation of blanking size without tolerance indication, forming size without tolerance indication, blanking corner radius size without tolerance indication, blanking angle size without tolerance indication and bending angle size without tolerance indication are divided into f, m, c, v, four descending tolerance grades.

5 Limit deviation of dimensions without tolerance indication

5.1 Limit deviation of blanking size without tolerance indication

The limit deviation of blanking size without tolerance indication shall be specified in Table 1.

5.2 Limit deviation of forming size without tolerance indication

The limit deviation of forming size without tolerance indication shall be specified in Table 2.

5.3 Limit deviation of corner radius size without tolerance indication

5.4 Limit deviation of angular size without tolerance indication

6 Representation method for grades of tolerances without indication
