1 Scope

This Standard specifies the basic principles of tree domestication, procedures and main technical requirements.

This Standard is applicable to afforestation species introduction and domestication.

Ornamental trees and rare and endangered species introduction and domestication may reference use.

This document was issued on 16 February 1993 by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China, and has been in force since 1 August 1993.

It is the first edition of this standard.
