Foreword

This standard GB/T 1.1-2009 given rule drafting. This standard replaces GB/T 10259-1998 "liquid scintillation counting system," compared with the GB/T 10259-1998 main technical changes are as follows:

1 Scope

GB/T 10259-2013 is the Chinese national standard on liquid-scintillation counting system, in the field of metrology and measurement. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 11 December 2012 by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 July 2013. Classification: ICS 17.240, CCS F87. This standard specifies the liquid scintillation counter of technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage and accompanying file. This standard applies to liquid scintillation counter (hereinafter referred to as the instrument). This standard does not include having a quenching activity calculation of unknown samples.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
