Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB 6141-2008 "Grading of Leguminous Grass Seeds". Compared with GB 6141-2008, the main differences are structural adjustments and editorial changes. Aside from the modifications, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) Added "Pig Dung Bean", "Cut-leaved Iron Broom", "Multi-flowered Lespedeza", "Pointed-leaved Iron Broom (Pointed-leaved Lespedeza)", "Cow Branch", and "Beautiful Lespedeza". Fourteen grass species, including *Gnaphalium affine*, *Gnaphalium affine*, *Gnaphalium affine*, *Senecio scandens*, *Gnaphalium affine... and *Vigna rotundifolia*. The values for seed purity, germination rate, number of other plant seeds, and moisture content are shown in Table 1.

b) The purity index values for three grass seeds-"Saladavonia," "Astragalus membranaceus," and "Amorpha fruticosa"-were changed (see Table 1, Table 1 in the.2008 edition);

c) The following species have been modified. *Saladaponia*, *Alternanthera philoxeroides*, *Amorpha fruticosa*, *Caragana intermedia*, *Caragana chinensis*, *Caragana microphylla*, and *Corona vulgaris*. "Astragalus membranaceus of Shanzhu Rock", "Astragalus membranaceus of Talu Rock", "Astragalus membranaceus of Xizhi Rock", "Baimai Gen", "Alfalfa (Golden Flower Vegetable)", "White Flower Osmanthus", "Yellow Flower Grass" Germination rate indicators for 16 grass seeds including "Osmanthus fragrans", "Red Bean Grass", and "Wild Pea" (see Table 1,.2008 edition);

d) The following terms were changed. *Satawan*, *Acer cuminata*, *Lespedeza dauricum*, *Polygonum multiflorum*, *Red clover*, *Strawberry clover*, *Mixed clover*, and *Crimson clover*. The index values for the number of other plant seeds of 10 grass seeds, namely "red clover" and "white clover" (see Table 1,.2008 edition);

e) The seed price indexes for the corresponding grass species in

f) The Chinese names for "feed soybean" and "large-winged soybean" have been changed (see Table 1,.2008 edition);

g) Added "samples" (see Chapter 5);

h) The "Test Methods" have been changed (see Chapter 6,

i) The "Factory Inspection" section has been added (see 7.1);

j) Added content on "Packaging Labels" (see Chapter 8);

1 Scope

GB 6141-2025 is the Chinese national standard on legume forage seed, in the field of agriculture. It carries no /T suffix, which in the Chinese system means compliance is mandatory: a product or a practice within its scope has to meet it to be lawfully made, sold or carried out in China. It was issued on 31 December 2025 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and takes effect on 1 January 2027. Classification: ICS 65.020.01, CCS B 21. This document specifies the technical requirements, sampling, inspection rules, packaging and labeling, and storage of leguminous grass seeds, and describes the inspection methods. This document applies to the production, sale, and use of leguminous grass seeds. Similar plant species and varieties in the same genus should refer to this document for implementation.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Seed value (pureliveseedvalue); PLS The percentage of seeds that have seed value.

4.Technical Requirements The quality grading of leguminous grass seeds should meet the requirements of Table 1.

5.Sampling It shall be performed in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 2930.1.

6 Test methods

6.1 Clarity It shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 2930.2.
