This document defines the terminology and definitions for dry-type alarm valves and accelerators in automatic sprinkler systems, and specifies the requirements for dry-type alarm valves and accelerators. The classification and designation, model designation, requirements, inspection rules, marking and instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage, and the corresponding test methods are described. This document applies to the design, manufacture, and inspection of dry alarm valves and accelerators in automatic sprinkler systems.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 dry pipe valve Gas is supplied to the valve system at a predetermined pressure. When the gas pressure on the system side falls below a certain value, water can automatically flow into the system and an alarm will be triggered. A one-way control valve for an automatic sprinkler fire extinguishing system.
3.2 Differential-type dry pipe valve The system is supplied with gas at a predetermined pressure, and the gas acts directly or indirectly on the valve disc assembly to keep the valve in the closed position. Alarm valve (3.1).
3.3 Mechanical dry-type alarm valve The system is supplied with gas at a predetermined pressure. The gas does not act on the valve disc assembly; instead, a mechanical amplification mechanism keeps the valve in the closed position. Dry alarm valve (3.1).
3.4 readycondition When the dry alarm valve (3.1) is installed in the system, the outlet side of the valve is filled with gas at a predetermined pressure, and the water supply side of the valve is filled with...

8.Accelerators" differs from GB 5135.4-2003 and GB 5135.8-2003 except for structural adjustments. Aside from editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:
---Some terms and definitions have been changed (see 3.1, 3.2, 3.6, 3.7, 3.8, 3.9, 3.12, 3.13; and 3.1, 3.2, 3.6,
3.7 of the.2003 edition). 3.8, 3.9, 3.12, 3.13);
---Added some terms and definitions (see 3.14);
---Added product classification and codes, and model designation (see Chapters 4 and 5);
---Added a "flag" (see 6.1.2);
---The "Specifications" have been revised, removing the description of the valve seat ring diameter and the requirements regarding clearance (see 6.2,
4.2 in the.2003 edition);
---The "rated working pressure" has been changed to clarify that "the rated working pressure should be either 1.2MPa or 1.6MPa, both nominal pressures." The requirement for "dry-type alarm valves when assembled and used with equipment of lower working pressure rating" has been removed (see 6.3,.2003 edition). 4.3);
---The "Material Corrosion Resistance" setting has been changed. The corrosion resistance of the valve body and valve cover has been changed from "not less than cast iron" to "not less than ductile iron". The addition of "iron" increases the material requirements for accelerators (see 6.4,
4.4 in the.2003 edition);
---Added "Structure, Clearance and Drainage" (see 6.5);
---Added "Connection Method" (see 6.6);
---The term "components" has been changed to include "valve disc seal" (see 6.7, 6.8, and
