Foreword
This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part
1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB 4452-2011 "Outdoor Fire Hydrants". Compared with GB 4452-2011, the main differences are structural adjustments and editorial changes. In addition, the main technological changes are as follows:
a) Some terms and definitions have been added (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the.2011 edition);
b) The type and specifications have been changed (see 4.1,.2011 edition of 4.1);
c) The model designation method has been changed (see 4.2,.2011 version 4.2);
d) The material requirements for hose connections and suction pipe connections have been changed (see 5.2.2,.2011 version 5.2.2);
e) Added technical requirements and test methods for the switching direction (see 5.5, 6.5);
f) The technical requirements for inlet connection dimensions have been changed (see 5.7,
5.6 in the.2011 edition);
g) The technical requirements for voltage reduction and stabilization performance have been changed (see 5.14,
5.13 in the.2011 edition);
h) Performance requirements and test methods for intelligent fire hydrants have been added (see 5.15~5.25, 6.15~6.25);
i) The inspection rules have been changed (see Chapter 7, Chapter 7 of the.2011 edition);
j) The basic dimensions of the underground fire hydrant wrench have been changed (see A.3.1, B.3.1 of the.2011 edition). Please note that some content in this document may involve patents.
