SN/T 0230 is divided into 2 parts.

---SN/T 0230.1 Inspection procedures for dehydrated vegetables at import and export;

---SN/T 0230.2 Inspection procedures for export dehydrated garlic products.

This part is the first part of SN/T 0230.

This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This part replaces SN/T 0230.1-1993 "Procedures for the Inspection of Exported Dehydrated Vegetables". This part is compared with SN/T 0230.1-1993.

The main technical changes except editorial changes are as follows.

---Modified standard name;

--- Revised the scope of application;

--- Re-define the dehydrated vegetables;

--- Re-specification of the inspection lot;

--- Modified the inspection process;

--- Increased acid-insoluble ash, rehydration, sodium saccharin, cyclamate, sorbic acid, benzoic acid test, hygiene test and microbial, irradiation Test items;

--- Increased the validity of the test.
