QC/T 971-2014 is the English-translated version of 摩托车和轻便摩托车用空气滤清器滤芯技术条件.
QC/T 971-2014 is the recommended Chinese automotive industry standard for air filter elements used on motorcycles and mopeds. It lays down the technical requirements for the element, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage.
Elements made from filter paper, from non-woven fabric and from foam all fall within its scope. It quotes GB/T 191, GB/T 1182, GB/T 1804, GB/T 2828.1, GB/T 10802, GB 11121, QC/T 793, QC/T 1000.2, QC/T 29017 and ISO 12103-1-1997.
The standard carries the Chinese classification T81 and was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Issued on 6 May 2014, it has applied since 1 October 2014.
