Scope
QC/T 712-2011 is the English-translated version of 汽车安全带用焊接螺母.
QC/T 712-2011 is the Chinese automotive industry standard for the weld nuts that fix safety belt devices in a vehicle. It specifies the type, the dimensions and the technical conditions of hexagon weld nuts and square weld nuts in thread size 7/16-20UNF-2B, used for the fixed connection between the seat belt device and the body or the seat.
The text is a modified adoption of DIN 928-2000 and DIN 929-2000, and it quotes GB/T 90.1, GB/T 90.2, GB/T 3098.2, GB/T 3103.1, GB/T 5779.2, GB/T 20666, GB/T 20667, QC/T 326 and QC/T 625.
It replaces the earlier edition QC/T 712-2004. Issued on 20 December 2011, it has applied since 1 July 2012.
