Scope

QC/T 1016-2022 is the English-translated version of 乘用车门内饰板总成.

QC/T 1016-2022 covers door trim panel assemblies for passenger cars and specifies their requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage.

It replaces QC/T 1016-2015 and applies to assemblies made of various materials by molding processes, excluding the operating and electrical components mounted on them, and to category M1 vehicles, other types making reference to it.

Clause 4 requires the internal protrusions to comply with GB 11552, the exterior surface to be free of sharp edges, cracks, bubbles, blisters and pitting, and colour, luster and pattern to match the approved colour plates.

It then sets dimensional stability against the drawing, chemical resistance with no softening, peeling or fading and a colour fastness rating of level 4 or better to GB/T 250, colour fastness to rubbing of level 3 or better with rubbing-cloth staining also level 3 or better to GB/T 251, a scratched-area delta L no greater than 2.0 on injection molded leather, and strength and durability requirements for armrests, grab or pull handles and fixed map pockets.

Clause 5 sets a test environment of 23 degrees C plus or minus 5 degrees C and 50% plus or minus 10% relative humidity, high temperature storage at 85 degrees C plus or minus 3 degrees C for 4 h, three cycles of xenon arc light aging to exposure condition 3 of GB/T 16991-2008, and odour rating on six levels by at least three trained evaluators. Normative Appendix A gives the 2000 L bag sampling method for emissions.

Appendix A (Normative) Sampling method for emission of volatile organic components and acetone components in assemblies - Bag method

A.1 Sampling principle

Place the sampling bag, which contains the sample, in a temperature-adjustable oven, to accelerate the rate of emission of volatile organic components in the sample, through high temperature. After a certain period of time, the organic matter released from the sample is qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed, by the gas collected in the bag.

A.2 Sampling device

A.2.1 Sampling bag

Use sampling bags, which have a volume of 2000 L and good airtightness. The sampling bag needs to be cleaned, before the experiment. After cleaning, the bag shall be inspected, according to the test method of the actual sample. The test results shall meet the following requirements:

a) The volatility test result of a single volatile organic component is less than 20 ng/tube;

b) Test results of volatilization of single aldehyde and ketone components: Formaldehyde is less than 150 ng/tube, acetaldehyde is less than 100 ng/tube, acetone is less than 300 ng/tube, other components are less than 100 ng/tube.

A.2.2 Gas collection device
