NB/T 42048-2015 is a recommended energy industry standard of China for sintering heat recovery boilers.

It gives the terms and definitions for the sinter cooler waste heat boiler, together with its parameters and models, technical requirements, manufacture, testing, ancillary equipment and accessories, paint, packaging, marking and accompanying documents, installation and use, inspection, and quality liability.

It applies to boilers recovering heat from the low-temperature flue gas produced while sinter is cooled in the steel industry, ring coolers and belt coolers included, and other waste heat boilers working on comparable flue gas may refer to it.

Chinese classification J98 and international classification 27.060.30 apply. It cites the GB/T 16507 series, GB/T 12145, GB 12348, GB/T 28056-2011, GB 50049, DL/T 5072, NB/T 47030 and TSG G0001. Issued on 2 April 2015, it has applied since 1 September 2015.
